More than a surf school, The Brother Surf School is the result of a lifelong passion for the ocean.

We are Álvaro and Javi, two brothers who grew up surfing the waves of Tenerife. After more than 15 years in the water and over 9 years teaching surfers from all around the world, we decided to create our own surf school with one simple goal: sharing our love for surfing in a fun, safe and personal way.

Our lessons are built around small groups, individual attention and helping every student enjoy the experience, whether it’s their first time standing on a board or they’re looking to improve their skills.

For us, surfing isn’t just a sport — it’s a lifestyle, a connection with nature and a community that we’re proud to share every day.

ALVARO

I’ve been surfing for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Tenerife gave me the opportunity to spend countless hours in the ocean, learning from every wave and developing a deep respect for the sea.

Over the years, teaching surfing became my true passion. I love helping people overcome their fears, gain confidence in the water and experience the feeling of catching their first wave.

My goal is simple: to make every lesson safe, enjoyable and unforgettable.

JAVI

Surfing has always been a huge part of my life. What started as a childhood hobby quickly became a passion that shaped who I am today.

After years of surfing and teaching, I learned that every student is different. That’s why I focus on creating personalised lessons that adapt to each person’s level, goals and pace of learning.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to take your surfing to the next level, I’m here to help you enjoy the journey and make the most of your time in the water.
